Make self-care a priority

Everyone is fighting a battle.
From anxiety, depression, school, work, health, image, death, addiction, family, friends, stress, the list goes on, but lets face the simple fact that shit happens and life can be very overwhelming at times.
One thing we all need to learn to do is make self-care a priority.
Whether that means sleeping in til noon, indulging in comfort food, meditating, going on a hike, laying at the beach all day, crying, reading a good book, doing a yoga class, binging on your favorite TV show, taking a day off work, going on a trip or just doing nothing at all -- acknowledge how you feel, remember to breathe and allow yourself to put healing first.
Quiet your inner demons, be gentle with yourself and whatever you end up doing, let it be enough. Remember that sometimes it's okay to not be okay, but if things get unbearable, seek help.
